I would really like to know how many stations there are. Here is a very fuzzy estimate:
Lets say inhabited space is roughly a cube with 300*300*300 LY volume. That is 27,000,000 cubic LY. Lets say in a 10*10*10 LY region there are about 4 inhabited systems (i may be really off here, just a wild guess). That would mean roughly 100000 inhabited systems. Lets say each inhabited system has somewhere in between 2 to 3 stations on average. That would put the number of stations at around 250000.
Could a developer tell me how far i am off? Thank you
