I'm interested to find out how many people persevered with the Yembo community goal after they realised that the promised high profits weren't going to materialise.

Only started late on Sunday and carried on yesterday evening.

Would have spent most of the day today doing some more if I didn't have to work.

If the target isn't reached will they extend it, or run something similar?

30 runs here. Stopped not because of low profits but because the tier milestones are ridiculous and I can't possibly reach the next reward level anyways.

Don't think I would have made it the 4th Tier, even if I did carry on for all of today.

I did notice on my run that every time I picked up 104t of my metal from Brani the Qty available was always the same, it dropped by 104t on my purchase but once back there is was back up to the previous amount?

Either they manage the stations supply & demand very well at the refinery or something might not be working quite right?

I flew to Yembo (as a bounty hunter) to protect transports from pirates (and make some money).

I provided security as a cobra m3 owner, and prevented several traders becoming 'dust' by jumping into wakes of indridicted traders.

I would jump in, and warn the trader to 'get out of there' whilst I attacked the 'ASP normally'.

I saved a lot of traders, but it was not profitable to me, so in the end, I retreated to a place where I could earn me money from NPC's.

A lot of you will recognise me as some one who condones traders stop 'crying so much from being pirated' because I believe they make ALL the money, and that piracy should be made to be an easier proffesion (as they can-not make enough to get by as it stands to be a true profession), and in turn, they will make bounty hunting HUMAN players a true reality. (People who would have a TRUE intrest in defending traders).

Now thats a lot of underlining and BOLD right there, AND CAPS.

I watched traders get inter. I dropped ito their wakes and defended them to alow them to get out .... then I had the repair bills and rearming bills.

Wings will be here soon traders, and if you dont know what that means, it means a lot of things. Soon you will be able to HIRE your own personal escorts.

Just saying.

Stop QQ'ing.

BTW, I will personally escort you in a cobra m3 if you drop me some gold. I will escort you and defend you with my ship and life over a distance that we discuss payment for.

Welcome to the future ED.

I keep meaning to try out some community goals. However, I'm nearing the edge of the galaxy on the Sol side and am really tempted to start a circuit around the whole galaxy along the outer edge. With 89% hull, a fairly full auto repair kit, I could probably do it, though this 350k I've racked up in bounty vouchers on my way out here keeps calling me home...

Though, seeing people post about it, I'm not sure I really want to take part anyway. Trading is a necessary evil to me. Just produces enough money to properly fit my Asp and Cobra and save up for an Orca. Lugging tons and tons of X to achieve seemingly insurmountable tiers seems like a devilish social experiment.

I did just over 20 to get into the top 5% bracket but there is no way I'm going to get into the top 3 and it doesn't seem likely the community is going to reach the next tier so there doesn't seem much point doing more. Was making decent money taking gold to Yembo but there being little on offer there made the return trip pretty crummy.

119414 tons delivered, 452 tons of cargo space (anaconda), so that makes around 264 runs... Might be wrong, i'm so tired that i can't see straight atm.

I must admit that I forgot to check what my final delivery tonnage was so I can't work it out exactly but it would have been well over 20 anyway so that's what I voted. I only started it on Saturday though.

did about 8 runs in total.

wasn't very profitable, got interdicted twice and several other times there were attempted interdictions

I can't afford to lose a T-6 full of palladium (I'm not a grinder, don't have credits to spare)

was disappointed that there wasn't anything unique about it, aside from the player-generated piracy. No extra bounties, police force, no unique rewards (just some measly profits), station looked exactly the same as ever, nothing new on the bulletin boards.

hopefully FD will improve on it, and stop relying on players to fill the void where the game content should be. Can't imagine what it was like on solo.

I was actively working *AGAINST* it took out quite a few traders and disrupted the effort as much as I could. Not sure how much effect I had but was fun trying.

Too many. About 32,000 delivered. 452 cargo. So about 70 trips.

Millions spent and millions in profit ... And I got 80,000 for a reward! YAY!

Rewards are such a joke I feel like I am still beta testing. Actually alpha testing.

None. Had better things to do than try to compete with neets and olddads that dont have a job for almost no reward. Sorry fdevs but a goldstar in your heart for me doesn't cut it. Its also not fun.
