I stopped shortly after I made it to top 5%, which happened for me around 6800-6900 tons, roughly 38-45 trips. I continued to just over 7100 tons.

Just five runs, but "Not enough profit in it for me" is not the reason I stopped there. I stopped because I don't do hauling for more than one (short) play-session, before buggering off and doing something more interesting.

Had the 1K/tonne been 10K I suppose you might have gotten another hour out of me. Tops.

About 3500 ton. Top 15%. T7.

Played in Mobius group for the first time. Was great. Really busy with CMDRS going about there business, some outside the station even having a nap( union regs I guess) bit of chat.

I enjoyed it for a few nights and it was only 40ly from my home. Meagre profits. Did not bother me at all.

Felt like I was last to leave tonight though. Back home again where I never see nobody even open.

Plan a wee trip out to HIP 101110 when the new station arrives.

I flew to Yembo (as a bounty hunter) to protect transports from pirates (and make some money).

I suspect then that you must have been the one who declared that you had my back on my way into the station. I wanted to say thanks, but when I noticed the message I was already on approach, so I didn't have my hands free. And the deceleration pushed your name off the edge of my screen, so I couldn't even note the name for later.

Yembo happens to be in my local neighborhood, so it wasn't out of my way to contribute. And being primarily an explorer, I did it more to support the project than to enrich myself. Though getting a trader's income for a few days was certainly pleasant.

The way the rewards were set up kind of makes me wonder if any of the devs actually play the game or whether it's just a programming exercise to them.

I wasn't too far from Yembo as most of my ships are based in Chimba so I didn't have to go too far.

Did enough runs (30+) to get 4000 units delivered (in a 120 slot Asp, not a bigger ship) which put me in the top 15% somehow

Came out with decent money hauling Palladium from Virtanen in Brani and then taking Consumer Technology back from Litchenberg station (which was 11ls from Naddoddur).

I did a little over 4000T in a cargo fitted Asp. I was interdicted by NPCs more often than CMDRs, I guess the Asp seemed too much like hard work for the Cobra pirates when there were plenty of T6 targets. I ran beryllium from Chimba, constant 1.4K/T profit, the extra distance was no trouble for an Asp.

Brani to yembo in my 108t asp. About 30 trips with 1.8k to 2k per tonne profit. Palladium one way and odds and ends in reverse. Shame the tiers were not completed as the rewards would have been much better. Must be difficult to know how many are contributing. I made good money and would certainly do another...

I was 2,000ly from Yembo when it started and I really didn't feel any pressing need to curtail my planned trip and rush back.

Well given the mission even had the word "Test" in it, you'd think people would stop saying things like "this felt like a test/trial run".

A lot of people here seem pretty clueless.

Also I went there for a day and left because I'm tired of trading and pirating people that wont/cant answer comms then go on the forums about being shot down. Just look at BD+03 and Banki people are tired of trading and want more combat/pvp.

Bare in mind I only started playing two and a half weeks ago, I started late into the Yembo mission with about three days to go. I earned enough to buy a Lakon 6 transporter, kit it out plus buy some goodies for my Cobra with around 500,000 credits to spare. So all in all I have been happy.

Heres how I feel the community aspect could have been improved imo - So many trade runs seemed to have attracted a lot of pirate interest which sometimes made it virtually impossible to run cargo safely. Not complaining about this at all as it was part of the risk of making the trade runs. However I would have liked the news to have announced a secondary community mission whereby bigger bounties could have been offered to bounty hunters working in that area to protect the trade routes and the smooth running of the project to outfit the station. In terms of game play I think this would have resulted in attracting more players into the community mission and added an element of extra risk and reward for the Pirates and bounty hunters alike.

Silly poll that conflates number of runs with loaded statements.

I did less than 10 runs, but wasn't in it for the money. Even did some group play for the first times, just to see other CMDRs. Would I have flown 200ly to paricipate? Not sure - didn't have to, since I was in Yembo for some time before the event existed.

Was fun to see an event happening on my doorstep - and to see the economy change dramatically in all my usual trading stops. And apart from grazing a couple of CMDRs and going 'pop' because of the damage bug, it was nice to see increased traffic (both human and NPC) in the stations.

I would really have liked to see a partially constructed station gradually being assembled somewhere in the system, even if it was just an easter egg like voyager that you couldn't interact with much. Hopefully there is score for such in the future.
