I'm disabled and spend a lot of time in bed. I'm hoping I can use the DK2 while on my back to get some much needed time in the game. Ordered first week of June, check my email a few dozen times a day
Not disabled but been playing with cable extensions (works, oculus dont recommend), it really helps, you dont have to sit in an un-natural or unhealthy position to use the screen, its going to be a really good selling point for vr. Almost balancing the future short sightedness
Lying down does some funky things with the tracking though, its harder to move naturally when your character is seated. When movements arent natural, the tricks are broken for a second and you get this weird disembodied feeling, hard to describe. Since the cabling is sorted, also tried actually moving round the cabin... minds were blown. Walked to the hauler cabin door and back. Walked into a table though
