How much cargo space for Rare Goods Circuits

I was wondering. There seem to be a lot of rare goods circuits popping up atm. I m wondering if a lakon 7 or 9 are worth it for those runs or if i would be better off going for a python battle fitted for some action in between. Lakon type 7 or 9 seem like overkill for the rare goods cargo space wise?

Rare goods are better off in smaller, quicker ships imo. With a larger hold (and smaller jump range) it will take a lot more jumps to both fill up the hold and get to a good sell point. A lot more likely for things to go wrong, I'm doing some rare trade routes in my Cobra and I don't plan on changing ship any time soon.
