How much do combat bonds actually contribute to a war victory?

As the title says! Is it conflict zone wins that heavily contribute or do the amount of credits in bonds really help?

Bonds certainly help - an uncontested war you can get a day's victory by going into the zone, shooting down one small opponent, leaving again, and handing in the bond.

The exact conversion between bonds and zone victories isn't known because it's hard to measure when all you have is a binary "win or lose", and if the war is contested enough to do more than "one bond a day" you're going to be getting large numbers of both anyway.

Official position from FD is that it's "more effective" to win the CZs... but yeah, bonds still count... that also depends on your definition of "more effective".

I've been doing CZs lately, and what I've been finding is that I usually win the CZ before completing the "Kill [faction] ships" mission, so I end up coming back for more rounds after returning to the nearest station to refuel and re-arm.

Speaking of which, do completed missions count?

I have noticed that the wing missions to kill opponent ships have a more reasonable number of required kills to complete than the non-wing missions. You can certainly accept and complete these wing missions as a lone pilot. They can, obviously, be shared with wingmates too (with limits shown in their description).

Yes, completing missions that help the war effort contributes positively towards the outcome of the conflict. These include hit missions, CZ missions, wartime salvage operations, target-scan operations, etc.

Short version; yes
Longer version; some, but not all count, but neither is it "only combat/wartime missions" or a comparable statement. How effective these are as well is not well known.

As an example, i did a "boom time delivery" once for a faction which had an effect on the war.
