Engineers How much do you have to trade for marco qwent level up?

I'm level 3 with marco, I alread have hen tanri and used my leftover material from geting my grade 5 power plant.


I thought I'd just rank 2/3s of the way to level 4 for palin's invite, but now I'm 20% on level 3 and I've run out of materials.


I don't want to go grind out everything at the moment, is trading a viable way to get around this?( I have a cutter)


Is it faster just do go pew some transport ships, load some missions, and go surface prospecting?

Well according to the Engineering Database (one of the links in the stickied posts) it takes 8MCr trading profit to go from rank 3 > 4 with Qwent.

Edit: so I presume that to get from 20 to 34% it's about 1Mcr trade...so not too bad really...but the choice is yours of course. I didn;t bother doing any trading myself.
