i personally use slopey's BPC, but i'm interested in knowing about rare trading. cause back and forth trading is kinda boring, so how much do you make an hour on ur rare trade routes?

Unfortunately I never really pay attention but mine builds the longer I run it so much as to where each sell at each stop nets 100-300k
I used to do that 71 stop rare-trade run, its kind of outdated a little now though, It made roughly 10mil per lap, but took an extremely long time to complete.
But now I have a maxed out asp with 120t cargo, so its more efficient to do normal trading where i make 1.5 to 2 million an hour...
But sometimes I think of doing the 39 Tauri/Lave clusters run just to break up the monotony, even though I would only make half as much in the same time.
Just googling "rare trade routes elite" will get you a few results, seems to max out at 1.2 mil per hour.

the last one I did was about 1.2 mil. I had about 70t of rares
I'm doing a 16 stop route in an Asp with 80t, and I make about 2.5Mcr a lap. It takes me about 2 hours min because I dawdle and do the odd mission instead of waiting for restock to fill my hold.
I don't look at is as a credits per hour kind of thing. It's more about fun per hour.
The long rare run will net about 10 million plus whatever I make while bounty hunting and scanning systems as I go so probably about 15 million or so for a circuit. If a stop gives me my full allocation I'm in and out of the system quite quickly but if not I go bounty hunting while I wait so could be there for an hour or more. The whole run takes me a week or more. At the moment I'm concentrating on the Tanmark goal so I'm not making much money at all but I'm having lots of fun.
If you're just interested in amassing credits quickly the Lave - 39 Tauri rare route is a good way to get to a Type 6 quickly. After that you're better off finding a good one jump trade route and grinding that.
