How much do you make with your Fleet carrier ?

And how (if it's not secret).

Was wondering how much an FC owner can make.

In how much time , connected or not ect.

Please share =)

(ps : I dont have one)

Carriers won't make money.
Elite Mining makes money and they kinda broke that for an ill conceived addition of carrier fuel which in reality would never be found in asteroids.

FCs by themselves are unlikely to make money.

There are ways in which they can help you make money, although how worth it compared to alternatives is quiestionable.

You're new aren't you... and want everything for free without effor don't you?...
No they didn't broke anything, what is broken are mining payouts and constant creep of payouts, without adjusting ship prices and rank requirements. And it's still a problem. Sure you can't do 400m/h like before (until another spot is found), but there are multiple ways to get over 100m/h easily, any type of game play can do that, you just have to play the damn game and not search reddit for gold rushes.

Nah, it's you who the new one of us here.

Was more asking about regular way , not exploit or somthing, just to see how people use their carrier :) . I'm seeing alot of them in HR 827 to buy trinium for example. =)

As mentioned a number of times, for passive income - Fly somewhere selling cheap, set a reasonable buy order, let the freighters load up the Carrier. Jump 100 or so LY, unload manually or pay someone to unload.

AS an example, the guy who was supplying my carrier should have made about 75 million (I ordered around 5000 tonnes @20,000cr) I could now sell that 5000 tonnes for 400 million credits. Plenty of room to boost income for truckers. Or just do it all yourself

It's hard to make credits with a carrier, I'm offering 25,000CR profit per ton for less than 30 seconds of travel time, and noone seems interested.

What you can do is take advantage of long jump range, find a good trade route, fill FC up, fly far away and unload for goot profit/ton. Another way to make money from passively is.... let me give a bullet point example (not saying you should do it there, but just as an example since Borann was well known):
  1. Park in Borann
  2. Buy LTDs for 1.2m/t -> fill the FC up
  3. Fly to a sell system (maybe that is far away, or wait till the prices spike) -> let's say you aim for 1.6m/t price
  4. now you have two options, sell FC load yourself or
  5. Set LTD sell price at 1.4m/t and let other people do the work for you, basically paying them 200k/t to save time
It's quite basic, you can apply that to any commodity, you just have to do a bit of good deal search (like, Tritium is all the hype currently, getting you like 50.000cr/t profit)

The only problem is, everyone has one, and every will be doing that, so it's gonna be a lot of competition :)

Edit: yea well why I typed most people already suggested the same :D

Buy Tri fuel for <10k from station... in T9
fill up carrier with T9 of fuel... repeat till full
Jump to sale location with FC..
Sell at sale location for > 85K+..
jump cost 100K.

Every 756 tons is 52 million profit... with 23,000 toms thats over 1 billion in profit.. for a single carrier jump..

The <10k Tritium party is over at the moment.
must be <12K now then 2k woudl be the normal boom price rise... edit = <13K price boost..

It's difficult to find opportunities like that.
There's a lot of carriers out there and you need to find one that's offering good trade AND is open to all.
I'm not going to look through all those carriers to find the one I might work with, to find him gone half an hour later (it just happened to me).
Station is just safer bet.

FC are offering 100K+ profit per ton for FC loop why would 25K per toon for the loop get cargo transport...
There are carriers with 70K per ton in there name...

I know there are those that offer that... Even I am offering that.... 70 k per ton untill I reach 10K tons in fuel..

Why do you keep reporting this, it is complete nonsense. Optimum buy systems change, follow the market.

LOL

When people just expect to be able to do the same mindless task over and over and get the same reward. This isn't mining. The markets shift around.
