Reportedly (according to a Google search) ED "uses" 2 MB/hour in Solo mode.
I connect via a satellite and, due to latcency issues, play almost exclusively in Solo with occasional Group forays.
Been on a mining binge lately and notice (only sometimes) that I get a delay in launching Propector limpets. Got so bad yesterday I figured I "locked up" this feature and had to log off/on to get it to work.
Had a chance today to play on a, much faster, Wi-Fi connection and the game (seemed) to run much smoother and quicker. Responses to game commands seemed "faster" but I could be imagining this. As an aside I had one of my best mining days ever.
So this got me thinking: In Solo are things like me launching a limpet sent to FD?
I understand things like market prices, missions, my location, etc but is everything I do/am doing - right down to limpet deployment - tracked and sent to FD in Solo mode?
If anyone knows. I can't do anything about my connection but was just curious.
