How much security/ship-scanning will I have to avoid in Colonia? (I'm transporting a paranoid passenger out there)

I'm heading to Colonia, taking a passenger for some extra income, but he'll probably bail if my ship gets scanned.

I was hoping to hang around Colonia and surrounding systems for a while, do some missions, etc, but if every docking has to involve smuggler-style rigamarole, then I'll do something else that poses less risk of wiping out the passenger's payment.

So what's it like out there in terms of avoiding ship scans?

Thanks! :D

I think any station in Colonia is pretty much the same as any station in the bubble.
There's always a chance of being scanned as you approach the mail slot or landing pad on planetary stations.
I have no idea what the odds are or if the odds are any different, but if there's a chance, you need to go fast or go cold.

I've been in Colonia for a few months now and can't say I have paid any attention to how many time I've been scanned.

Thanks. I normally have no problem doing smuggling runs, but there are so many hours and tens of millions on the line with this passenger that I think I'll avoid the risk and keep my visit brief (but I'll also look around for a nice outpost with no patrols - it would be nice to be able to stay a while).

When I was shopping for exploration passengers ("collect data" passenger missions), it seemed like all of them were worried about being scanned, so I'm guessing this sensitivity just comes with the mission type
