How sharing zoo maps should work

So more and more, I'm seeing people sharing not mere buildings and exhibits, but whole zoos with everything in them.

I want to say that this is cool but sadly, there are many things that make the current Steam Workshop setup horrifically ill-suited for sharing whole zoo maps. There are no paths that come with these zoos, meaning that they all have to be placed manually, fences often come in quite spotty, and placing these zoos down often created an insane amount of lag.

Here's the solution I propose. Have zoos be selectable from the Steam workshop,

BUT...

have them be full out maps like the career mode maps. This way, they will all load in perfectly with no flaws and it would be easier to play with. There can also be options for a zoo to come with or without animals if the player wants to populate the zoo themselves

Are you sure that the zoos from the workshop do not have everything in them? Paths, barriers, terrain, rides, shops, everything should be in zoo save files on the Steam Workshop, just like saved zoos on your own pc.

You said something similar before in this thread..... As I mentioned there, paths, barriers and animals are all included when you download a zoo. Have you actually done it, because you're just wrong..... Sometimes they're a bit laggy, but that's just because they're often highly detailed. As Joel pointed out, they're just other people's save games... There's no difference between downloading and running a zoo from the workshop and loading one of your own saves.

I did not notice that you opened them in "My Zoos" and now I feel quite stupid. Could someone please close this? For some reason, I thought that you could only plop down zoos like exhibits.

Sorry
