Newcomer / Intro How the EFF do you fight a 'Conda?

I've done it in a Viper and a Cobra. Upgrade your shields and batteries and weapons and stuff, get a chaff launcher and stay behind him. Getting behind him is the hard part but once you're there he can't do too much damage. Also, the police tend to show up after I fight for awhile and take his attention away.
It's do-able in pretty much anything, but not easy. Getting in close and staying tight on it's 6 is the best bet. If you're rocking gimbals, targeting the power plant is a solid way to knock one over, since it'll blow without you having to take the hull all the way down to 0%.
a conda is easy..with the right equipement.
What do you fly? A sidewinder? Leave it be...An eagle?..feasable but meh. A Viper? Now we are talking. But without upgrades to at least B i would not recommend it.
Use shield cell banks...for real. They help a lot.
Now to the combat. The front of a conda is the dangerous end. Evade it at ALL cost. You dont want to exchange small arms fire with a plasma accelerator (full viper with full shields everything A class to 1% hull). Behind the conda it is relative safe. Target the FSD (left hand panel -> subsystem tab). And keep shooting. If you damaged the FSD enough (around 30% integrity left) the conda will start to behave strangely (most likely the power and the systems go haywire). Reaching that point, the fight is almost over. Stay behind it and keep shooting.

If you can, go for the military composite armor...it helps. like wow!
