How to auto dock?

I can manage to get inside now, but I still am not doing it right - Taking me 5-10 mins to get in the right spot still... It also helped to realize that the other stick was moving me up and down and not looking around like it should - I guess I can try a joystick - there's a frys near my office I can stop at and if it doesn't help I can return it as defective...

You can make the controls do exactly what you want them to do. Just rebind them for what feels natural

The dot on your landing radar is the representation of your ship from above. Put the dot at 6 O'clock on the circle and then just lower yourself until you see the 'dartboard' target appear then hit the bullseye
