how to build a new construction (e.g. a satellite)?

So I constructed my starport and choosed for the next installation a satellite.
Now I see that I only have 4 constcution points left from 5 in the system map.
Though I do not see where I have to deliver the materials?

Any hint?

Wait for thursdays tick, your starport is not fully finished till then.

I don't know why people keep saying you have to wait for the tick. The fact you can have up to 5 construction projects at once indicates there is no intention for you to wait a full week before you can construct another installation. There was a bug earlier that would not let you even choose a location after relogging and the mission was not finished -- I suspect this behavior is similar and we may need to file a bug.

No it is finished and have been able to construct a satellite.
Though I still do not know how long it took until the construction facility has been available to construct the satellite.
I guess it were some hours but do not know it exactely.

You can start up to 5 more construction projects. Click a green + to place something in orbit. For a planet, you have to go down to <2km alt above a spot you want to build on a planet and fire off the SC-suite.
