I was playing with a build on EDSY and came up with a build including a couple of M weapons @ 927 m/s..... a mine launcher might be fun 
Courier is a fun ship as you can build it to go over 800 m/s while still being very utilitarian. Here is something that I theorycrafted for another occasion and added now the guardian booster to it to go past that 40 LY jump range too (but losing 14 ms speed). https://s.orbis.zone/3grn
I have the basis for that back in the bubble that I built as an alternative to take into DW2. It had armored PP though and none of those weapons in there. The speed was around 850 and jump was 44,9 ly.

Great video but I'll stick with my Courier. I lose some top speed, boosting only to 884m/s but, I still can still make five 48 light year jumps before having to scoop. A full set of class 2 weapons, dual AFMUs and, a repair limpets controller with room for 4 limpets.
