How to buy Beta as a gift?

Can anyone tell me how I'd go about buying Beta access for a friend who cannot afford it at the moment?

Can't see anything much in the store support, other than gifting is 'not possible'

Are there any workarounds?

Not right now. Maybe soon, I hope. I have a couple friends I'd like to surprise myself.

A voucher ticket would be great.

Hmmm .. Maybe a workaround would be to create an email account for the friend and buy it with this email used for store account creation? After the purchase give the credentials to your friend? I think now it is the only way for doing so.

Go to his house (if you can), and walk him through the process of getting beta using your credit card, while watching his "oh my god, oh my god!" face when he realizes what you're doing.

Well, I set up an account using his email address, and did it.
I got the payment confirmation and receipt from Frontier - and I've let his son know what I've done so he doesn't think it's a scam or anything like that.

Fingers crossed it'll all go through smoothly

Your friend is lucky to have a friend like you
