How to change SHip clock from 24 hour to 12 hour?

It's a curious omission, given there's an option to turn the clock on or off, you'd think they'd just add the variant option there too. I guess it's linked to the somewhat militaristic/astronomical theme of the game. Ie, I'm pretty sure all astronauts and space agencies use 24 clocks by default.

Yeah, you can't change the timezone either. Just get used to doing the appropriate addition/subtraction.
Or owning a watch ;)

It's an in game clock specifically (one that just happens to mirror UTC exactly), so it shouldn't represent time zones in real life.

Elite Dangerous is played all across the world in every time zone. Playing with others the 24 hr clock using UTC
time works best flying with another player 12,000 miles away. May I suggest using an analog clock with a second
hand below your monitor? I use it often to snipe a bid on eBay at the last second. Now I have to sell all this stuff I
never use! I really don't need eight Roland keyboards.

If you are picky there are Amateur radio clocks you can use.
