How to come out in front of Stations?

I am quite sure I am doing something wrong.

I have tried every type or orbital line entry and going over the plant so I am inside and pointing to the station, with the planet behind me. But only 1 in 10 times do I come out infront of the station. Mostly I arrive at the side and spend 2 or three mins tring to find the entrance.

I always hit the Jump button as soon as I get to 1000m and turns blue. My speed is always 6 LS so I am in the smooth zone.

Any tips/advise appreciated!

Station entrance always faces the planet they are orbiting. So try to position yourself between the station and planet before dropping out of frameshift.

Not 100% sure but I believe that the angle relative to the station at which you leave supercruise is important as well.

if you can get the planet behind you and the orbit line around the station straight with no curve you should have the station directly in front of you or at least within the 45o

Very kind of you all but I am doing that every time. I even vear off so as to get a straight line over the planet to the station but as I said, 1 in 10 works.

Very strange. So do you guys always come out in front of the station?
