How to delete habitat barriers?

I'm really enjoying the game so far! Thanks to everyone who worked so hard on it! However I am currently struggling to delete a habitat barrier. I can delete individual sections by clicking on them and pressing the delete key (as long as I am not in barrier edit mode) but I cannot work out how to delete larger sections or whole barriers. I assumed it would involve selecting the whole barrier in barrier edit mode and pressing delete but this does not work. I have also tried the normal multi-select tool which does not work either. Any advice? Thanks

Select the barrier, click edit .. then if you notice there are arrows left and right .. click or drag those to select all or part of the barrier .. then click delete when you are finished.

Thanks. That's what I was trying to do, turns out I had a bugged barrier. It works on all other barriers

Was it during the career mode? In the tutorial levels especially, the game won't always let you edit things after you put them down.

It sometimes happens that you can't delete or edit things.
When I try to delete/edit a barrier and it refuses to get selected, it usually helps to close all the windows (press Esc until you have a clear screen) and then to go to barrier building (i.e. click the "Barriers" button) Then I can select it, edit it or delete it.

I think it's worth reporting, though, because I don't think that this unresponsiveness of random assets isn't intended.

Down near the bottom right there is what looks like a square made up of dotted lines , Clicking on that lets you delete multiple items at once , Once selected you drag your mouse over what you want to delete all together . It is to the right of the Paths and Terrain buttons

Yeah, unfortunately that doesn't work for barriers

I've always used the edit barrier option and either right click on the segment or select one or more segments and press delete. If one doesn't work the other usually does.

Edit: Just realised this is what I said before ( or similar ). If neither worked, try reloading the zoo and trying again. As far as I know there is no other way to remove barriers.

All I do is click a plant or rock in the habitat. When that panel comes up, I click 'select habitat' and then press delete. I only use the panel sliders for parts of the barrier when needed.
