How to disable camera shake?

Been away from the game for about a month. I come back and the cockpit shaking is totally ridiculous and creepy. I seriously doubt that the shaking effect would actually occur according to physical law, unless the ship were about to explode. The shaking is ridiculously exaggerated and causes me motion sickness. You're flying a ship in a vacuum, yet the ship bobs and jumps as if you're hitting turbulence in a jetliner. A little vibration is one thing, but this is absolutely ugly and overstated.

There was never shaking like this before in this game. I'm using the same ship as before. Also, the "speeding" thing around starports is dumb and politically correct. I don't care what people are doing with ramming ships. Stop dumbing this game down, and get rid of the cockpit shaking. The game is being ruined with these constant "improvements".

Some people find the shaking nauseating. I think there is already a request in the features sub-forum. Wouldn't harm if a few people posted there complaining.

Shaking is good, adds up to realism, but at some points there's quite a 'too much' of it.

Feels like you are driving F-1 car somewhere outside w/ no road and also with no air in tires.

The shaking effect really depends on FoV. With single very small monitor it is very nice feature, it adds greatly to the realism and you'll hardly notice it - absolutely fantastic addon. But as the size of the screen grows the effect is less enjoyable and goes from annoying to dangerous to health (it can go as far as nausea, severe eye fatigue and problems with focus and balance = the official term is simulator sickness https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Simulator_sickness and virtual reality sickness https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virtual_reality_sickness - and it can be quite serious) as for VR - it can be even 3 monitor setup.

as for the argument it levels the playing field - it gives small screen owners huge advantage over anybody with bigger screen because not only thy have everything in very narrow field of view and the shaking is almost unnoticeable but with big or multiple screens the shakes and head bobbing effect grows with square law so it's way more severe.

Anyways - everybody got different equipment and more over oculusers already go the privilege granted so that renders the whole question of leveling the playing field completely moot. (I would say playing with keyboard vs playing with joystick will make far more impact than the shakes and bobs :).

Having some sort of control over the effects would allow more people get into elite bit more - the cockpit building community is taking to elite quite well and this could be major spanner in a wheels.

As for oculus suggestions -I imagine for majority of people it is not an option - this is a platform that is far more suited for consoles like Xbox where it would be absolutely great addon, fantastic improvement and particulary suited for the type of customers and type of gaming).

I've asked in technical forum so fingers crossed :) https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showthread.php?t=164406

I don't like how the cockpit HUD moves to me and away from me when a start or stop suddenly. It wouldn't bother me if it would recover, but I have to his ESC and then resume to correct it. Else I'm zoomed in to my radar. Had to pick my teeth out of the windshield a couple of times.

I thought this was a bug...? Also pressing shift fixes it
