4 words: salvation long range gauss.
Our ships are faster. U get a 800+ m/s viper 3 with 4 long range gauss and give that hydra a panic attack while sniping it in reverse (u can almost do 500m/s in reverse non fa off in viper 3) goodbye hearts real shame u can only see 3 km lol. Those thargoids would run for good after a week of this. Salvation wants goids gone (as do i, but they fund my carrier and corvette fetish with their life so im conflicted) here is the answer!

Guess we're way passed the "let's talk" point now... AXI will cry if a long range weapon comes to the game, like they did with the Salvation CG shard cannon reward and balancing the existing ones is not Frontier's strongest suit... so, yeah... we're doomed

No we need a bigger gun. This galaxy isnt big enough for the both of us. They must all die. (People gib hydras so long range gauss is a lore progression thing)

I wanna farm hydras like corn. Cold orboting is too slow. Lemme just beat it into submission. AX as we have it is way too drawn out. I want a way to slap em in a shorter amount of time. 5 minutes for 1 kill while wasting mats synthing heatsinks/ ammo is not fun or efficient.

We would hsve extincted them with mycoid if we didnt show mercy and give a cure. They dont Care that we had mercy. They care none. They know only violence.

You could not kill a hydra in 5 minutes even with your proposed reverski long range gauss. You also would not waste synth on ammo in such a short fight. You just showed that you are either trolling (most likely) or just completely oblivious to how AX actually works.

No they don’t. Not on a regular basis. It has been done (mainly to show it can be done) but that required around 40 commanders in the instance and many of them had their games crash during the act. Now stop trolling.

sure... lets get rid of the whole in-game content and get rewards 'by mail' just by logging in... so we don't bother playing it 😁

* Now without 'joking'... I also don't agree... the game needs challenging objectives, or it gets really boring.... I believe there's not even enough challenge as it is right now... (imho)
Why would you want to finish thargoids, as they are content for players?

Although… plasma slug gauss would be very nice and not unbalancing -

  • maintains skill barrier
  • reduces grind
  • uses an existing mechanism in the code

I say that a kinder more gentle approach is needed.
First, stop doing stuff to tick em off.
Invite them to talks while serving buttered scones and tea. (Blech, but they like it)
Have outings and cricket matches. They’ll enjoy the interspecies fellowship.
Everyones enjoying the peaceful coexistence.
Then blast em all into extinction with the new weapons we made during all the happy joyfulness.
Maybe then the Guardians will come out of hiding and reveal Raxxla?
