How to find pirates?

Hi All,

I accepted a Pirate mission.

Flew to the system. Upon arrival I couldn't see anything or at least nothing hostile. I flew around for ages in super cruise mode and found nothing. Flew to Unidentified Signal Sources etc and nothing.

How on earth do you find them?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Keep some cargo in your hold and go to 'USS' in systems.

These are random so you might have to keep at it for a while.

Once you find some "pirates" they will scan your cargo and attack.

This is when you can give it em'

But don't go empty handed or you have to attach first ....
