I have been looking for sources of non-human signals 4, 3, 5, 6 and 7. And also in mega scientific ships but I haven't found it.

Newcomer / Intro how to find thargoid probes?

According to the Wiki they can be found in NHSS 2 and 5. I found one a few months ago in a NHSS 5. First one in a long time. Other players reported finding them in NHSS 5 through 8. Anyway they are very rare nowadays. I think they can also be found in the Delphi system (NHSS or a megaship, not sure).

That wiki is old - Threat 2s were removed. Megaships are, I believe, currently broken. NHSS 5-9 should work, but will be pretty painful. I would avoid for now.
