How to find your personal exploration history.

Is there a way to do this??

All seems to be well now. Have a new restore point and I am going to try one of the log readers again.

EDDiscovery locked the launcher up again. Restoring to before it fixed the problem so maybe the newest version of EDDiscovery has a bug.

Exploration thread move maybe?

I don't know how to move it.
Not sure I want to move it.
Couldn't find anything about it when I did a search of the Exploration Threads.
Could be because this forum doesn't support advanced search or if it does it is a hidden feature.

If you just click on the search icon with a blank field, you get a better search page (Advanced Search) open - it is still not the be-all-and-end-all but I find it suffices (others use Google).

How advanced do you want it?

https://forums.frontier.co.uk/search.php?search_type=1

That gives you the option to filter by any combination of Forum, User, Keyword, date bracket and specify whether you want posts or threads for results, as well as other sorting options, it's about as much as I've seen on most forums.

Edit: ^ That is what MalcYorks' instructions give you - just click the magnifying glass top right of the page. When it opens, it's on the 'search multiple content types' tab (top left of the page) by default, the link I gave above is the 'search single content type' tab which allows tighter searches. There are that many threads it can still be a bit of a nightmare though :D

As I said, it is hidden. If you type anything in the search line, click the magnify glass, the Advanced options never show up.

I think they will be advanced enough.

I am not certain that was the cause. Geforce Experience also updated and that always gives me headaches. On top of that, Windows updated and MS has possibly again unleashed some W10 malware on all us W7 users. May have to roll the whole computer back. UUGGHH... Then for some reason I cannot get into my Frontier Store Account.

You get another rep point if I can do it though for the advanced search secret.

You don't move it a mod does. Good advice can be gleaned from exploration forums. I'll flag now.

If you do this, make sure you copy your journal files first otherwise you may lose your locally held data (not your in-game stats etc, they are on the server) - They can be found in the Users/**yourname**/Saved Games/Frontier Developments/Elite Dangerous directory.

I already did that. Did a soft restore to right before the Windows update. Windows updater is what updated GeForce. Not sure which one broke the Launcher.
Launcher is working but won't take my password so I am still working with Frontier Support on that issue.
