How to fix scratches on my beloved clipper?

So after powerplay my Imperial Clipper looks a lot more worn and scratched which is very cool.....except I cant find a way to fix it...Paint fix does not Work....Wear and tear does not Work.

Am I missing something? Is it really impossible to fix it? Then whats the point in repairing paint?

Or is this a bug?

Have you tried removing the paint, then reapplying it, via the Outfitting interface? That may work, but I'm not 100% sure of that.

Yes I have and the scratches stays no matter what Paintjob I use :(

I havent tried selling her and buying a new one...But I dont want to do.

I just bought a brand new Diamondback Scout, and its paint was already worn and peeling before I even took it out into space for the first time.

I'm going to guess that it's working as intended.

This sounds like a bug to me guys. Before the game was launched they did some renders of the wear and tear mechanic and the 100% was pristine and shiny.

And I know that some ships comes as "used" when you buy them...but im 100% sure that Imperial Clipper is not one of them :p
