Coaster Crazy How to get a higher score (any suggestions?)

Hello everyone -

I LOVE this game and I'm just about 100% done with it (yay!)... ((Need more land - any coming soon???))

What is the best way to boost for extra points? I'm working in Madagascar and the only missions are to get high scores, but I can't seem to break 200,000 and you need to get 300,000 +

I've noticed in some of my tracks, the points adding up freeze (Points stay at a certain number for a long time -- then continue to get higher after a lift or similar).
i.e. I'm doing a long /tall circular turns spiraling down with a giraffe in middle (not sure if I'm using correct verbage) after the second or third circular turn hoong down the points stop climbing.

Any help from users who love/excel at this game? Obviously a good score booster is to use special track pieces, but on Madagascar where you can not use any special track pieces to boost points, it's really difficult to get a high score.

There really isn't much of a secret to increasing your score, just try to keep excitement, fear and nausea balanced for as much of the track as possible. Also, try to use the maximum length of track you can because the longer the ride is the more score you'll accumulate. :)

Scenery you only get so long with a score going, plop another piece of scenery to keep the score going, or you can make the turns wider and narrower (one segment have a wide radius then a tight radius below it) and curve it out and go between the two levels, creating duck bonus opportunities. Also on the wide radius portions, angle the track towards the Giraffe to get added excitement. Add in a loop or twist as well(you get a lot of points if you incorporate a loop with scenery as well)

Thats what I did to pass the level.

Some good advice... Thank you! I think you're right. My turns going down were all similar and I need to tighten then loosen and have some duck bonuses.

I do use full scenery and tunnels... I guess I'm not 100% positive if the scenery is being utilized. When riding thru your coaster to test it... Do you need to "see" the scenery to get points? When I'm riding my coaster down that same spiral around the giraffe I cannot see the giraffe and I'm not sure if I'm getting full points for that giraffe scenery.

Keep advice coming... The Madagascar is my last challenge I need then I'm 100% done with the game ;) I'm only in level 27 so I still need to unlock some stuff but its fun doing so and I'm not bored yet b/c I always have daily moon challenges. ;) but I would definitely like to see more coaster land added ;)

Ok.... I've changed the latter half of the Madagascar track where the points froze at 160,000 points. It still froze at the same number as last time, even tho I changed the track completely.

Could this be a bug?

So... I kept first part of the track (where it racked up points/score) and deleted the last 1000+ (yards(?)) and created new hills, 180 (upside down) tracks, tight corners, etc. and it still remained completely frozen score for the rest of the track until the very end.

Does this happen to anyone else??

Next I will try deleting entire track and starting Madagascar from scratch, but I don't have the time right now, so until then, I want to see if this has happened to anyone else?

I'm using the steel 3-rail with rocket cars FYI

Like I said in an earlier post here... The score freezes at the same time right after the second of three spiral turns downward around a giraffe scenery.. I even deleted the third spiral and added lots of new track pieces including duck bonuses, banked and unbanked turns, upside (spiral) downs, big hills, little sharp hills, everything, and score never went up after that freeze.

It can't be me... Has to be a bug... Can you look at my track and score by riding my coaster (is that possible admin or friends?)

This is my last challenge then I'm 100% done and its driving me crazy! Hehe

Edit: should I create a new post for this score freezing problem?
