I sell digital content downloads. Do the regulations apply to me?
1. Yes, they do.
2. You will be subject to the information requirements as set out in points 1. –
7. in D. above. You also need to be aware of the following points.
3. Confirmation of the contract should be given on a durable medium and sent
within a reasonable time frame after the conclusion of the contract.
4. Consumers will not have a right to cancel once a download has started

A lawyer has informed me the buying process does not make this provision so you are entitled to a refund for a year after purchase, they have also screenshotted the buying process.

Once you inform them it don't matter if they ignore you or fob you off, if they don't comply report them to trading standards.

What are you trying to accomplish? if you want a refund then go demand a refund, i can't really see any point in posting this.

I wonder how this works with early access type deals and crowd funding. You are essentially backing the digital game that comes out later this year. Shouldn't your refund apply to the product once it's released?

Not sure, but it seems that you are essentially purchasing an entrance fee rather than a digital download product which isn't available yet. Access to early development builds are just a perk.

Have you read all of the small print you agreed to?
 
It's all good for you to fight your fight, but how this is relevant to the game? It is your own private dispute with the company. Please keep this communication in your own channels. I consider it a spam and I have reported you accordingly.

I don't see anyone else spamming up the forums giving advice for refunds.

Maybe don't buy a game that's in Beta, when it's clearly not finished, and this is just a testing period?

You've been asked and been told to communicate through the proper channels... repeatedly.. THAT is why your last thread got closed.

It is very clear you have not spoken to any legal representative as they would suggest to you to avoid such antics while attempting to get a refund.

Stop posting new threads and use the correct channels.
