Hi all,
Came back to ED for the Odyssey Alpha and wanted to team up with a friend last night. However when we enabled voice comms I could hear him but he couldn't hear me.
I had my microphone (in the analogue input of my PC) plugged in, the Windows option to monitor it was working (I could hear myself through my headphones), but ED didn't send anything through to the other person. We tried direct voice comms, going as a team and using team comms but nothing. I check settings to see if there was someway to make sure ED was using the mic input. It was almost like I was muted my end (friend had checked that his volume settings etc were correct).
Is there any sort of in-game "self-test" I can run to make sure I am at least transmitting? A bit like the tests you have in MS Teams or Skype? I am very much a noob when it comes to voice comms as I have never really used them in the past, so this is my first go!
