It seems like no matter what system or station I go to, 90% of the missions offered are smuggling missions. I'm currently in a system with 5 CZs, so one would think I would get some combat missions for those. But no, my list is almost entirely smuggling missions.
I would like to stack some pirate hunting missions and bounty hunt that way, but I rarely get even one combat mission in hours of gameplay. My current rank is Master, so I should be getting some. And considering I have not even smuggled a single ton before, maybe the game should realize this and stop giving me nothing but smuggling options.
I tried locating to systems neighboring an anarchy system, hoping they would want pirates hunted down, but no, more smuggling.
It is no wonder players gravitate to RES for combat, since this appears to be the only option. The player population must be very heavy on smugglers.
Is there some trick to finding stations that offer combat missions?
