How to get tickets for the EXPO

The links from the Frontier and Frontier-Expo sites don't currently seem to take you to a page to order tickets - nor does the email sent out about the Expo.

To get tickets go here:

HTH

Edit : Just checked again to ensure I'm not imagining this. The "Grab Your Tickets Here" link the original email takes you to a page with no way to get tickets and as far as I can see no link to any page to get tickets.

Frontier should really sort this out, if their official mail send has an invalid link or sends to an incorrect page there are plenty of people that don't come to the forums that may miss out !

Apart from the 200 Founders' Passes, is there indicated anywhere the number of Full and Junior Passes available?

Now I'll pre-empt this with the disclaimer that I absolutely love ED and think FD have done a great job (especially when you lok at the empty promises and extended deadlines of Sc) but am I the only cycnical one thinking this is very clever, getting people to pay up to 70 quid to go and be told how good FD are? This is basically an all day advert that people are paying to see!

Maybe I am too old and too cynical and a little bit bitter that I have never been able to pull off a similar idea. [sour]

Some people have too much money + lifes too short, kind of combine so that some people will just buy a ticket, because they WANT to attend, its fun to attend, and it well, its not free.

It probably should be free. But then you do get a goody pack, and it does cost an arm and a leg to hire the venue. + Frontier is one of the last great British success stories, so Im to too unhappy to support them. Also, I guess if it WAS free, then the venue might need to be too large for the budget they have in mind.

Limited tickets keep it under control. And how do you pass those out, at random, or first come first served?

If people don't want to / cannot attend or cannot afford to, fair enough. Watch any streams of it, and pick up the same if for free. No harm.

Im a Kickstarter Founder, and I bought a Founders pass for this event. Because I want ED to acheive its full ambition (sooner rather than later).

You are of course right on all counts. I'm just a grumpy old git with wife and kids to support... and have already spent far more on this game than any other.(Beta, Horizons, HOTAS, TrackIR, better monitor, better graphics card, ship colours, nice threads for my commander, Christmas Tree bobblehead etc etc etc.)

Can't justify the ticket cost, travel, food or time, an expensive day out.
