So, I might be wrong, but based on the navigation instrument provided in the galaxy map, I cannot get to Imperial space from LHS 1914... My stock sidewinder and Eagle can only take me so far, and every time I check, I always get to a star beyond which I cannot jump, meaning I'm stuck in the Federation and an assortment of various. Yes, I get that I might be able to buy an upgraded drive somewhere, but the trouble is they're all very rare. Anyone got any ideas?

Make a 10k, sell the Eagle, buy the Hauler, strip the Hauler to bits = 12,7LY
Got me home to Imperium in an hour and I only had to refuel once.

Thanks, saw that, just couldn't get far enough with my current configurations... Hopefully the Hauler will do the trick...

hey im in the chemaku (spelling?) area of the game will the hauler take me there or is there a closer imperial system anyone is aware of?
Hi Mate, I spwaned in Chemaku too! Im heading toward Imperial planet now as well. The nearest one i could find was called Liaedin. but it seems awfully isolated. anyway Im headin there so maybe see you there in a day or so?

ty dude ya i saw achenar was like 150 give or take light years away and i was like dam i dont think im gonna make that lol wish theyd give an option on which side to start on but oh well and ya ill be heading there asap i can make it almost have enough for my cobra than gonna head out that way should be there before i log off tonight if all goes well

Been pottering around imperial space myself. Exploring in my bounty hunting Eagle and trading in a hauler. Heading to the Prism system now. Not seen any other players around here yet.

btw, I recommend checking out the Sowaiio system. It's pretty amazing and I hope it doesn't change in the release version.

I'm heading to imperial space too- hardly my choice (given my signature)- I just made a couple... bad calls, so to speak, in some Federation systems- And now I'm on the run.

I'm a little disappointed that I missed out on the Elite: Dangerous KS campaign [I just didn't know it existed], else I'd have thrown a hundred quid or so at this and got my long-range Cobra. I still put £85 in [Beta + Expansion pass], so I was well above the long-range Cobra and Founders World tier anyway! Ugh...
I am fairly sure that FW will be open to the public once your rep is high enough [you get the permit] in Imperial space.
FYI - I'm in LHS 1914 as well, picked up my Eagle from Heisenberg himself. I've been doing some bounty hunting in Federation space, it's only a matter of time before my reputation is in the gutter due to that and will have to flee. I think I'll just keep wreck havoc every now and again until Dec 16th [the slate is wiped clean!] and I'll see you on the Red Side of the universe
