LostWinds How to get to Wither Falls or Forgotten Chamber when I'm stuck @ Blossom Grove? HELP!

Please help! I've been stuck at the Blossom Grove for many weeks now in LostWinds for iPhone 4. I need to go west to get to either Wither Falls or Forgotten Chamber, but when I get to Blossom Grove, it's blocked by a fence, and there's a guy standing on the side of the fence, but there's no rock or anything to throw through the fence to break through. So I'm stuck, going in circles.

I've tried to get help on the LostWinds Facebook page, but they say they can't see my photos posted on their wall. And I tried to email support, but the security answer won't work, so I keep getting an error message.

Has anyone here finished LostWinds for iPhone? Or gotten the second chest at Wither Falls? Any help would be appreciated please! Thanks. :(:(:(:(

For the second memory chest you need to go to the mines, from Deo the guide below will get you to the mines and you can explore from there:

The missing memories of Deo
(6– Deo's home )
Deo is now once again able to hear Enril, and he also reveals information on what has been happening since Enril went missing;
After the Spirit Stone shattered, the other Spirits realized the true threat of Balasar's new power.
Our only course of action was to hide amongst the people of Mistralis.
To do this I transferred my Spirit to a secret location I hoped nobody but I could find.
And... to protect this secret location even from myself, I sealed my memories within four sacred Chests.
Deo explains that there are 3 other chests hidden within this land, the first of which is within the Old mines.(21) Enril remembers that an entrance to the mines was close to where she was found By Toku.(3)
Exit Deo's home to the left and proceed through the meadows.

Travelling to the Mines
(5– The meadows )
The entrance back into the cave is at the top let side of the meadows. To reach this point climb on top of the pillars of rock that are over the river, then leap off the left side and onto the higher platform.
Proceed into the cave.
(3 – Lost Cavern )
Drop down off of the edge and onto the ground below. Burn out the barrier by using the fire from above with a slipstream. Proceed into the tunnel to the entrance of the mines.
Exploring the Mines
(15 – The Old Mines A )
Proceed right and hold onto the pull switch using Toku. Gust Toku upwards to activate the switch.
Drop down through the trapdoor and head right until you reach a door with a pressure platform. Go right from here until you find another door (with a crystal in the centre of it) and a rock near by.
Gust the rock back up to the pressure platform and open the left exit Door. Go through this exit.
You have discovered another shrine
The Shrine of Vortex
(16 – The Shrine of Vortex )
Activate the shrine, Enril will now have the power of wind Vortex.
In this area is a WindStone, notice that every time it is gusted it creates a sound. Crystals respond to this sound by resonating and then smashing. To make the WindStone resonate, gust it into the air and then draw a circle around it. The WindStone will resonate causing the crystal barrier to smash. (you can also smash the crystal barrier by Vortex gusting the Stone into them)
Repeat the process to open the crystal door and proceed into the next area.

Thanks for the reply, but I've done all of those steps already. Toku already has vortex, slipstream & double gust powers. I think maybe I've been stuck for so long I've lost track of where I'm at!! :(

I wish I could upload photos here to show where I'm stuck. I was previously able to get through Blossom Grove & access Wither Falls, so I don't understand why it's blocked by a fence now?

I've been through the crystal caves, broken the crystals by vortexing that ball....I've gone through the whole map about 10 round trips.

That old guy (deo?) just tells me I need to head back west, to where I originally found the wind spirit. That's it by the old mines, but as I said, when I walk west, Blossom Grove is blocked by a sudden new fence. :(

Any other ideas on what I'm missing? Thanks! :(

From Blossom pass, Lost Cavern is below. I don't see another exit from Blossom Pass from above. Just directly west is Blossom Grove, which as I've mentioned is blocked by a fence. I've gone through all the caves below, like lost cavern several times. I just keep re-doing things over and over, pulling levers, going through trap doors, vortexing rocks and smashing things, killing crabs....

??? I can't believe I've had so much trouble with this game. I'm not usually such an idiot!! My husband just started playing it on his iPhone, so he's only at the beginning, and therefore can't help me either. :(

Thanks for trying to help. I really don't know what else to do. Is there a direct email or support since their contact form doesn't work?

Hi Michael,

Were you logged into Facebook at the time? If that link didn't work, perhaps just try directly going to http://facebook.com/lostwinds

My photos & comments are on the right side panel box, under "user posts". There's a few other players posting there saying they're stuck in the same place.

The walkthrough one of the other players posted is for WiiWare, not iPhone, and there seems to be some differences in the iPhone version.

I'll email you the screen caps and try logging out and quitting again to try and find out what stage I'm at exactly. Thanks! I'll post my results later.

I'll email you now. I can only send one photo at a time from my iPhone, so there will be a few. It was a busy week, and this is the first time I've been able to log on. Just checked the game, still stuck!! When I launch, it has four of the five wind skills unlocked, and says I'm 48 or 49% complete, 12 out of 24?

Btw, I watched my husband install and start playing LostWinds on his iPhone, and saw him be able to walk right through Blossom Grove/Blossom Pass right at the beginning of the game, so it's actually NOT blocked off at the beginning of the game. So, now I know I'm not crazy, as a fence really HAS appeared out of nowhere at Blossom
pass/blossom grove which is now blocking my way. :\ Weird, hey?

I'm still stuck. Spoke with another user today I met on GetGlue, and she gave me directions to continue on. The hitch was that it involves jumping up on the right side of Blossom Grove, which I STILL cannot get through, due to that fence that appeared out of nowhere and continues to block me. I am really beginning to believe my game has a glitch? Should I delete it?

Looking at the screenshots you sent through you haven't collected the second chest, so you need to go to the old mines as I posted earlier. That's why your way is blocked, you need to go back through the caves.

Thanks for replying -- May I please ask, what does the second chest DO, exactly? And can you tell me what location on the map it's at so I may head directly there? As I've said, I've been going in circles and am really completely at wit's end. I've been through the caves DOZENS of times, and have used vortexes, gusted things, burned things, etc., all for naught.

The second chest restores more of Deo's memories, there are 4 in total. When you return to Deo after opening it you will also gain the Jumbrella Cape, which you will need to get the final 2 chests.

The second chest is located in Crystal Mines East.

Btw, how can I be missing the second memory chest when I did all that you mentioned above, and my character already has the power of gusting, double gusting, slipstreaming AND vortexes? Doesn't that mean I have four out of the five memory chests?

Sorry to keep bothering you! :( Ok, I'm logged on right now, looking at my map, and I think I may have found the problem: I don't have Crystal Mines East on my map! LOL I can assume it is meant to be in the gap to Crystal Mines West, yes? And do I assume correctly that I need to go back to Crystal Mines East again and keep going to the right?

The second memory chest is located some time after gaining the vortex power. You also need to make sure you return to Deo after opening the second chest so he can give you the final power and the locations of the last two chests.

There are four chests in total.

OMGGGG. I went back to Crystal Mines West (probably my 23rd time!) and this time burned the plant to get the seed, moved it over, used it to jump high and for the first in WEEKS found a new part of the map. I'm now to the right, and up (east) in "Crystal Mines". Since this is new, I assume I'm FINALLY headed in the right direction?! Oh, I hope so!!
