How to get Trading Cards and Badges on Steam?

Hello, I have questions about cards and badges in Planet Zoo on Steam.
How does the animal trading cards unlock system work? (photo 1). It is true that I already have a few unlocked cards, but I do not know how I achieved it while playing :) I still have 7 cards missing.
The second thing is Badges (photo 2), I also have no idea how to get them, I found somewhere on the Internet that there is a bug with getting the Gold badge and that Silver for the moment is the highest badge on Steam at Planet Zoo.
Yesterday, after a very long time, I managed to get all the achievements 38/38 (100%). Unfortunately, some of the achievements are not easy, but in the end I made it ;) I also attach a photo (photo 3).

Please explain all of this how to get cards and badges. I count on your help and thank you in advance for any helpful answer ;)

Regards,

You got 8 free cards by playing the game. You have to buy or trade the remaining 7 cards to finish the set. One card cost approximately 0.05 €

If you have finished the set, you can craft the sand badge. I am not sure how to get the other badges, but I suppose it's just a repetition of the sand badge.

Crafting a badge gives you 100 steam xp.

This system is to personalize you steam profile. It does not give any in-game rewards. Its a waste of time in my opinion

It's possible to sell the free trading cards to earn a little money that can be used on the next purchase of a game or DLC on steam

I think you can also randomly get a Package with new Cards with a very low Probability which raises with your Steam Level

Almost nothing. Mainly more personalization and a bigger friends list. With steam level 10 you will get a showcase to show off your achievements. But who is gonna watch your steam profile? :D

They're ranked, each time you complete a set of the cards and turn them in, you get the badge or rank it up by a level. You also gain steam emotes or profile backgrounds or a few other things that are connected to the game you earned the badge in and normally a coupon for some random game.

There is also a second badge for each game that is harder to get where it's gained by collecting foil versions of the cards, those cards tend to be more expensive on the market and rarer to drop.

You can also deconstruct the emotes, cards, backgrounds, and several things into gems that let you buy card packs for certain games you have cards for.

I usually always sell all my cards. Never knew you can actually upgrade your steam profile with it.

I also never knew there are professional CV makers out there, making money out of making CV's :ROFLMAO:.
Do not click obviously.

I reported it as spam - it's pretty unusual to see any on here but there we are!

I would have done also if I would have been able to do the same, but I can't. :)

I'm still on the time out bench.
