How to go about this mission...

Hello,

I have trouble understanding some of the missions in ED. A specific thorn in my mind currently are the one where you need to deliver a cargo that has key words "mission specific" and "stolen".

What does that mean? I know that "stolen" is basically anything that you pick up from Weak Signal Source and of course the ones you "liberate" from cargo ships hangars. But missions specific and stolen?

Some mission description examples:
1) Go to system X, there somewhere in space is "trade data" and it has to be stolen. So is this a random loot from WSP or I need to blow a cargo hatch of a very specific who exactly then?
2) Deliver "stolen" hostages, target name SomeDude, located in system Y space. So what exactly do I need to do? Random encounter in USS? Random encounter in SC? Something else? And if I do find this guy then what? I guess I am not supposed to blow him up right?

Yesterday I had a mission to deliver "experimental chemicals" missions specific and stolen. I found the guy who was mentioned in mission description, brought down his shields, pummeled his hull to less than 50% and... nothing. Eventually I shot his ship down and still nothing. The guy never spawned again and finally I run out of time and the mission failed. Such missions are really frustrating.

Also for the love of God why 90% of kill missions are against NPC's who are not wanted. I am so tired of taking a mission and then finding out that by killing the target I have now a bounty on my head that is almost half of my reward. Who designs such things? What happened to bounty missions?

ED's missions are so confusing and frustrating - a kill missions with text "we need a guy who kill good. Do you kill good"? :):):)! Someone at FD dev team was drunk?
