Newcomer / Intro How to increase cargo capacity

Really frustrated, it is so hard und nothing is explained by itself...:-(

Have a standard Sidewinder: sold sensors, lasers AND bought a second "freight room" (don't know the english expression, playing in German) with 4 tons of cargo capacity. I got it twice now. But still it says on the overview in the bottom right: actual cargo capacity 4, maximum 8. I am still allowed to only buy 4 tons of wares. What do I have to do else to carry 8 tons? Thanks!

Is it possible that you've got 4 tonnes loaded already that you've forgotten about? Have a look in the cargo tab in the right hand ship control screen.

If not, perhaps you could post a screenshot of your outfitting screen and we can have a look over it for you.

Isn't that saying that you have 8 tons cargo capacity, and you're currently carrying 4 tons? Is your hold actually empty?

There was a bug back in beta that would cause some load-out changes to need the game to be restarted to take effect. If you're carrying no cargo, try restarting.

That was the problem, did not know I accepted a delivery mission. I am sorry...
