How to Join a Private Group

My apologies if this is a completely N00B question but I have applied to both Fleet comm and Möbius and have now been waiting for weeks for a response but so far as I can tell I have not received anything. I believe I applied to Fleetcomm on the 14th or 15th of Jan and applied to Möbius a little after that.

I see I have made it onto the fleet roster as "Roster# 13,789" on http://bit.ly/dw2roster and seem to have access to the Fleetcomm Discord channels however whenever I start the game the "Private Group" option in the "Start" menu always says "You do not have an active private group". Is there something else I should be doing?

This is strange, because I see your application for Fleetcomm, and it looks like you were invited already. I wonder if the invite was eaten. I'll mark you down for a reinvite and send one out to you. DM me if you don't get anything within 24 hours.

How is the invite meant to arrive? Should I receive an email, or does it just show up as a "Private Group" in the start menu, or does it arrive some other way? I'm just not sure what to look for.

You will see it in the Private groups and friends tab in the main menu and pause menu you should see a yellow ! when you get it

Oh, there is a yellow exclamation there!

I had seen it there and clicked on it several times but it was opening on the "Friends" tab and I didn't realise I had to switch tabs to "Group". Looks like it had worked after all

I seem to have had a bit of difficulty joining the fleetcom group. I was a latecomer to DW2 but have applied to the latecomers list several weeks ago, and have also applied for fleetcom PG recently, but still haven't had an invite. I've been using Mobius PVE Eurasia, but haven't seen any other players at the waypoints. The galaxy is feeling a bit lonely!
