Trying to locate slaves, I've read somewhere online they can be found at nav beacons. Is this true?

You can purchase them in Anarchy systems usually.

They cannot be found at Nav beacons unless you are willing to steal them, which won't work for slave missions.

As 'sbdags' says, they can be found in anarchy systems. To find anarchy systems that have stations go to your Left ship panel > Galaxy map > View tab > Select 'Map' > Change filter from 'Allegiance' to 'Government' > Un-check all except 'Anarchy' and it should show all systems that have stations.

Only if they have been dropped by someone else, they can possibly be found at any USS, although as already said they would be classed as stolen.

Anarchy systems to buy them but be aware there are slaves and Empire slaves, two different types. Also, it's a dead cert that where you have to take them to slaves will be illegal so you'll have to sneak in.
