How to look backwards on rides

Hi everyone,

does anyone know how to look backwards on rides?
When I'm using on ride cams, I can't find a camera that can turn around the seat.
But I have seen that this is available (like on this picture):

Maybe it is just available with own built coaster-trains-cart?
If yes, could someone point me on the way how to build an own coaster train?

Thanks :)

i’ve never seen a camera angle that looks directly behind the seats. It’s always in the direction the coaster is moving

The option you're looking for is "interest" (right hand of the 3 main ride cam options) and the first camera view within that. If you click on the interest view, it'll change camera position. You can then scroll in and out with the mouse wheel [up]

The way to do this is to get into external camera mode and cycle through the options until you find the one that you can rotate 360^ around the train. IIRC this is the 1st option and begins with the camera above and behind the train. Then you can rotate it to look backwards down the length of the train and zoom in on a seat.

Note that the camera in this external mode pivots around the car/seat combo selected in the POV camera mode. This defaults to Car 1 / Seat 1. So if you don't change that and immediately try to point the external camera backwards and zoom all the way in, you'll still be a bit outside and in front of the 1st car of the train. Thus, before getting into the external camera mode, first go into POV mode and set the car/seat combo to something near the middle or even rear of the train. That way, when you zoom in with external mode, the camera will be between the seats of the cars near the front of the train.
