How to make docking music louder?

I've got my sound settings pretty much how I want them, so that nothing overpowers anything else, but I can hardly hear the docking music - and I like the Blue Danube.

I've got the volume of it turned up to max in the settings, but it's still really quiet. Anyone know of a way to make it louder?

No "don't use a docking computer" replies, please.

I don't have solution, but I agree! The music needs to be at least loud enough to drown-out the sound docking computer crashing your ship into the station/outpost!

I turned that effect off, even though though it's an homage to Mr. Kubrick's landmark film.

After listening to it the first hundred or so times, M. Strauss deserves a rest.

I usually change my audio 'Optimise For' to "night time" if I'm listening on headphones and it makes a big difference. Might help, if you don't have the option of editing xml config files directly.

That’s the way I’ve tweaked my sound settings. Lower the loud stuff, raise the quiet stuff and then turn it all up.

I’m currently looking for work as an unqualified sound engineer should anyone, ahem FDev, be interested.

As I said, it's already set to max.

I could, but I've just got the balance right (apart from this) and I don't want to do it all over again.

Just wondered if there was another way.

A new player I've been helping recently asked if the tune being played during auto-docking could be changed.

I reported this as an issue on the Issue Tracker as it is insanely quiet when compared to the other music. All these comments about turning up the music are just stupid, make no difference when it's recorded at an insanely low volume to start with. If i turn the music up i get deafened by the regular music

Classic music is recorded and mastered like that, with high dynamic range, compared to anything contemporaneous. Even normalized it'll sound quieter than the rest.
