Haven't played much for a while, did a few passenger missions and they used to be higher payouts but now they seem like a slight waste of time for most 100,000 rewards.

Noticed trading went down the drain as well, used to make 1 - 1.5mil in my trade route (and equivalent in other trade routes) now its like 300k at best

Bounty hunting, either its me and I am unlucky or the spawn rate of large bounty ships has also decreased?

Mining could be an option but if trading is lower, I assume that also got nerfed?

Anything anyone would recommend?

You can look for a better trade route.
Profits fluctuate.

I have no problem finding large-bounty ships (200k or higher).
Or do you mean large ships with a bounty?

I rarely encounter corvettes or cutters. Anacondas are more frequent.
Pythons, and Clippers are quite frequently encountered. So are the Federal sisters (FAS, Gunship and dropship).

Passenger missions.

I only came back from a 2 month break this morning.

Found a bunch of passenger missions for looooads of credits.

Couldn't grind it, cos it's a bit dull, but does make a change from trading slaves or bounty farming.

Look for medium/short range missions.
Around 130~ly seems to be a sweet spot for pay vs range.
I took on several missions to a similar area, and got paid 9mil for about 40 minutes work. And it was easy. No conflict involved.

But of course, I saw missions paying 30+mil for 22,000ly trips. Lol

state depending trading... medicines to outbreak systems .... or high tech in boom to extraction in boom .... all between 4000-6000 cr/t profit a-b-a.

that's ~2,5 mio/h in a t6, ~6 mio/h in a t7, ~10-12 mio in a t9 and ~15-20 mio/h in a cutter.
