I have an account with FD and have just purchased another with Steam. Please can anyone tell me if it requires a second installation of the entire game, or if I can switch accounts with the launcher using just the one instal?

Thanks Lestat, that’s how I figured it would work, I just wondered if having one on FD and one on Steam complicated matters.
If you purchased ED through steam, you will need to redeem the steam code with a (new) FD account. From there you should be able to switch to that account in the launcher without doing a separate install.
Source: bought ED on steam, found out that I could access the launcher without steam, copied all of the game files to a new location and uninstalled the game on steam
