Hi, I made a tutorial video on how to combine the game files from Epic game launcher with files from Steam launcher. You can do this if you want to switch accounts on the fly and don't want to install both versions.
With this method, you don't have to install both versions of Elite Dangerous.
You can launch from both Steam and Epic launcher with their accounts automatically logged in.
The playtime will be correctly recorded on both launchers.
