How to On-Foot Deatmatch?

o7 C's. Does anyone know the most efficient way to play on-foot deathmatch with friends?

By efficient I mean the fastest way to get back in the action when killed. Spawning back at stations or out in space on a ship is a no-go.

Find the CZ you want to fight in at the Frontline Solutions desk.

Fly there in your ship. Land, declare for the faction you wish to fight for, then dismiss your ship.

If you die in the CZ, you will respawn in one of the dropships, which will drop you back into the CZ. Do NOT click "retreat from conflict zone" or you will end up back in the station.

When the CZ is finished, recall your ship.

Thx Mate. Do we need to join opposing factions? And won't the enemy faction attack us and ruin our fun?

You will need to declare for opposing factions.

The NPCs will shoot at you but they are dumb and slow, so wont be much of a problem. Do watch out for sharpshooters and enforcers, though, as they can hit very hard.

By the way, the NPCs will capture flags while you and your son shoot each other in the face, so the CZ will end eventually.

Sorry, one last questions. Do we HAVE to take our own ships to the CZ or can we just take the Frontline drop ships?
The boy, CS2 champ, doesn't have proper flight controls yet, so we need to keep his ship flying to a minimum.

Edit: Should we Private Group/Team up first so we can instance together and see each other better at the CZ?

Private Group is probably a good idea anyway as it would ensure it is just you two and the NPCs.

If you take the Frontline dropship, you'll get hoiked back to the station when the CZ concludes. If you fly your own ship, you can recall it and board it at the end of the CZ, log out or fly wherever you like. Using your own ship means you can reset the CZ too by logging to the main menu then logging back in.

Make a team with your son, then he can board your ship with you. Fly to the settlement, then disembark before dissolving the team. That will ensure you are in the same instance and can declare for opposing factions - friendly fire is off in CZs.
