How to pay for Multiplayer

For me it is simple. If there is a monthly subscription, I won't be doing it. I can see myself trying online occasionally, but not often enough to justify a monthly fee. I had Elite on my Electron and loved it. The Electron still works and is sat behind me right now and the boxed game is sat in front of me. I only found out about this project less than 24 hours ago and having seen that the dogfights will be like the original and not the sequels (which killed them for me) I'm eager to give it a whirl.

Assuming it is doable, let the user with the best bandwidth host.

I've already pledged more for this game than I have ever paid for any other, I refuse to pay to play a game that I've bought....never have, never will

Yup.. I've also already paid more than I have for any other game in the last 2 or 3 years for this game.. there's no way I would fork out more as a monthly subscription or anything like that for the "privelage to play"... maybe I might buy a few vanity items like ship decals and skins.. cockpit items etc.. but nothing more.
