How to play sandbox maps in challenge?

I found a map I really like on the workshop but its only playable on sandbox. I hate the flat map, and I hate terraforming entire maps because I suck and it takes forever.
I know about the blueprint stratagey but it would cost 700k and I want to start on that map, not play for ages and then use it.

Is there any way to play it on challenge mode? Or is there a way to cheat the money I need for the blueprint?

I am affraid there is not a way to convert sandbox map into challenge, only the other way around. There is also no way of giving yourself additional cash in challenge mode.

You can set the sandbox settings to get pretty close to challenge mode though….

Start it off in sandbox mode, then when you're ready to play, go into the settings and turn on cash and research etc, and give yourself the 40,000 to start with just like in challenge mode. That's what I do! No difference to the gameplay after that.

Only difference now is that we don't have the side challenges and random animal market in sandbox yet. Hope we get those settings in a future update as well to make the set complete, because the random market sure adds another level to the challenge. Everything else is there though.

I would argue the market is still different. I personaly prefer the challenge market, where not all species are available at all times. I like because just like in real life zoos, you cant just say I want Hyenas and acquire them, while in sandbox, there is always 2 females and 2 males available for each species, so perhaps a switch for a limited animal market could also be a thing.

Yeah, that's exactly what I said? We don't have the random animal market in sandbox yet and I'd really like it to be added as an option as well, because it also adds to the whole challenge aspect.

I actually found a cheat engine that gives you 40k cash each time you press 1 on num pad so got that worked out.
