How to put bountys on other players

Okay so i put a post up a few min ago

putting a bounty on a player and it was quickly removed by admin


i would like to get the players prospective on this


Should Us paying Customers be allowed to put bountys on other players on game for there misdeeds or just for the sake of it???


surely this makes the game a bit more enjoyable for those who do bounty hunting and makes the game a bit more realistic

and on a side note since putting bountys on other players is not allowed on this forum (which i think is stupid/a game flaw) or in the game itself (even more stupid)

is there any player Bounty websites out there already if so can someone message me the link
if not is there anyone out there willing to make a website dedicated to putting Bountys on players
so other players can claim them (with proof)

No more Open Play till fix

Okay so most people wont care but
i myself will no longer be playin open play till a fix is found for the ability to keep someone trapped in one area unable to escape
and all it takes is 2 players working together and they can keep someone completely trapped except for a hard disconnect which frontier class as cheating from what i have read

i never hard disconnect but after 4 attempts at tryin to use FSD to escape and succeeding only to get FSD interdiction by the other player straightaway, i would happily player online if i was allowed to post these CMDRs names with a bounty for others to hunt but apprently the forum admins prefer the criminals get away with all there misdeeds (maybe its the admins who are the criminals :p)

either way till this FSD problem is fixed or till we are allowed to post bountys on these other players im done with online play

I think you will have a hard time then and will have to wait a long long time. ( until forever )

We intend to pirate trade lanes in a Wing. How will you deal with that ?

FSD away from combat, immediately drop out of super cruise so they can't see you, jump to another system, carry on.

Go solo, get tooled up at the nearest station, come back and slice them up.

Where are you? and what are you flying? and what are you getting interdicted by? If you cant name, then at least narrow the search down a bit.

I like the idea of a bounty hunter's website...it might prompt ED Team to accelerate in game player bounty system.

'Name and shame' is expressly not allowed, which is presumably why your post was removed.

Putting bounties on other players is in the design for the game (see the DDA), but like lots of other things in the design, is not yet delivered. Who knows when we can expect it.

Im playing as BH and yes, i'll accept a contract from you, until its enabled in-game it will just have to be organised out of game. Pm me

Edit: I'd much prefer to see in game mechanics to deal with this, that way it can be controlled somewhat.

Something like...

[] Place a bounty
[] Report a crime

Please enter name of person on whom you wish to set a bounty _________

Please specify reason for bounty

[] Cmdr XXXX Attacked me
[] Cmdr XXXX Stole my Cargo
[] Cmdr XXXX Abused the intersystem comms channel
[] Cmdr XXXX was flying dangerously in a station
[] Etc.....

How high a bounty do you wish to place.....

[] Place a 1,000 cr bounty on Cmdr XXXXX
[] Place a 10,000 cr Bounty on Cmdr XXXXX
[] Place a 50,000 cr bounty on Cmdr XXXX
[] Just report Cmdr XXXX to the loacal police


Something like this would be cool, and a great game play feature especially for Bounty Hunters..

Im not gonna link directly for obvious reasons.

Indeed, some of us actually enjoy having to deal with whatever happens out there.

If you encounter someone who just wants to kill you for no reason and its acting like a "griefer" just pretend that they're Reavers, Space is supposed to be Dangerous, not a ferry simulator!

As I already told you in your last thread:

Just make a thread "Looking for Bounty Hunters in system XY"
You then add details of payment/ship of the criminal and ask for a PM for further contract details. I think you are allowed to name a CMDR in a PM, so the admins should have no problem with it.
