Gather minerals on planet surface. Minerals you will find in rocks that your scanner reacts to (low part of scanner screen).
When close enough to a mineral rock, you get the option to lock on to it. Shoot it and gather.
In the right side panel you will see a list of options for what you can do with these minerals (if you have the right types that is), including refuel.

Thanks, I did think something like this, but I didn't any reaction of my scanner since a lot of time.
I have no scanner to activat, it have to be an automatic scanning, right ?
Can I anything see from some distance, that there have to be something ?
Do I have to stop some times, to wait for autoscanning ?
Maybe, do I need some special scanner ?
Is there a link, I didn' see, for describing how to use the SRV ?
However, I,m on a Planet with three Bases, here. The Planet should have some Metals.
Do I have to go to a Planet without any Bases ?

Any planet you can land on, you can gather minerals.
When driving the SRV, you got the scanner infront of you. The line that goes from left to right like a radar. It will pick up contacts, and these contacts will show smaller and more compact the closer you get to the contact. The sound will get more intense the closer you get aswell.
This scanner works on two levels, the upper line will show points of interests (ship wrecks and such). The lower line will show minerals.
You don't have to stop to use this scanner, but I've found it to be helpfull to stop and listen to the sound of the scanner now and then (it sounds like a geiger counter).

As you find new materials the list of things you can use them for also increases.. 
Also the scanner is that radar think making the noise as it sweeps from left to right. the higher up the scanner is showing a target the better the target will be. IE a wrecked ship or complex etc..
