How to Remove Elite:Dangerous 2.2 from displaying on HUD

So by now I'm sure everyone has noticed the "Elite

angerous 2.2" which appears on the bottom left corner of the screen.

Has anyone worked out how to remove this?

I have been pondering this myself. No solution found yet.

You'll have to wait for the next patch, or put a post-it on the corner of your screen, or the picture of your favourite character from Zardoz.

The line isn't visible on high-res screenshots, so that's at least something.

It's happened after pretty much every big update. I think it's kind of a tradition and FD 'forget' to remove it on purpose.

I haven't seen it playing in VR. So that might be the solution - buy an Oculus Rift... no?... Actually, when I go off exploring I will switch to monitor because of the mosquitonet look in VR takes away the beauty [ugh]

I tried a brillo pad. It didn't work.

I tried taking some high res screenshots with alt+f10 but it didn't work.Have they changed the keys who have to press?

High-res shots still only work in solo and private group modes. Also check your bindings.

Either a) you're in Open

or b) You're using the new Nvidia GeForce experience, which steals Alt-F10 for something else.

If b), Hit Alt-Z while ED is running, the gear for settings, and then rebind that Nvidia key to something else.

It'll go once 2.2.01 is released, whenever that is. I expect that that won't be *too* long as they'll be wanting to introduce a proper fix for the stored modules bug.

I was in solo and I haven't changed my bindings.But I'll check them just to be sure.
