Newcomer / Intro How to search the forum?

Mods, feel free to redirect or merge the thread. Hopefully it'll be the last time I ask something already answered.

I don't seem to be able to search efficiently on the forum.

Example:
Here's question I want to ask at the moment, I'd like to know if black holes are classified like stars and show up on system map in unexplored/unscanned systems. So first thing I get to the forum search bar and type all sort of stuff like black hole / stars / map / unexplored /etc…
But what I get is all threads where any of these words are mention in any post.
Try to type a question (kinda knowing it won't work) and there's even more results.

Note to readers, I not so bothered about the black hole answer (although bonus is nice).

made me giggle, have to say.

But doesn't really help. Here's a different example:

I posted not long ago a thread about the Advanced discovery scanner defeating discovery purposes (not a question to ask google, but an opinion I wondered if anybody else shared)
I later saw a different thread on similar subject and some guy said "it's been 5 or 6 thread on this topic" meaning I'd probably was asking for the 4th or 5th time (would like to avoid that in the future)

But yeah, on the black hole thingy, google of course.

+1 to ^^^ for the good-natured response. LMGTFY isn't really a valid response there, this guy's got a valid question.

You can, however, put forums.frontier.co.uk: in front of your search in Google to search the forums with Google, and that can be somewhat more useful.
